Art Socks x Museum The Ship

Kunstsokken x Museum Het Schip

Hello everyone!

Tako here, the co-founder of Art Socks! 🎉

Today I enthusiastically share our very first collaboration, something we could only dream of 2.5 years ago when Art Socks started: Art Socks x Museum Het Schip ✨

At Kunstsokken we work every day to merge art and fashion in a unique and fun way. This collaboration, in which we designed socks inspired by the iconic building of Museum Het Schip, is the perfect example of this.

The building of Museum Het Schip is a wonderful example of the Amsterdam School, an architectural movement from the early 20th century.

This movement is known for its expressive and decorative style, which is characterized by the use of brick, organic shapes and rich details. The Amsterdam School is an important part of Dutch architectural history and has had a lasting impact on the urban landscape.

We have translated this iconic building and its characteristic brick colors into a suitable pixel art. The result is a pair of socks that capture the essence of this extraordinary building while being a stylish and wearable work of art.

As of today, these socks are exclusively available in the museum shop of Museum Het Schip.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to visit the impressive museum and get your hands on a pair of our special, limited-edition socks at the same time. We are very proud of this collaboration and the beautiful end result!

Looking forward to more great collaborations in the future!

Much love,

Taco
